THOUGH OLD BUT STILL POTENT 

‘Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35). 

The Bible is believed to have been in existence for about 2700 years and though not the oldest book on earth but its relevance in all ages cannot be disputed. Many powerful and thought provoking books have been published by many authors but the Bible impact cannot be rubbished. It is such an incredible book that speaks of law, love and judgement without failing to provide a way of escape from the wrath of God. 

Many celebrated books has been written and published with multiple edited copies, but this strange book (the Bible) remains relevant for a dynamic world. For every new world event, a meticulous search of the Bible will have something predicted some years ago about that event. There’s avalanche of wisdom required to navigate pathways of life inside the Bible and if its instructions are meticulously followed, a young individual will escape all manner of pitfalls in life (Psalm 119:11). 

What the world refers to as luck but Christians categorise as miracles are found in every page of the Bible and miracles are still here with us today through the name of Jesus Christ who is the Word himself (John 1:1-3). Miracles are supernatural incidences that transcend human interpretations and knowledge; and believe me honestly, you can experience it in all areas of your life (John 11:40). 

Ironically, many modern day challenges have their solutions in this book but we have been made to erroneously belief that “old truth” have no place in modern day issues; however, the truth is that a neglect of the fundamental principles will always produce wrong result (Psalm 11:3). As simple as the Bible instructions are; if observed conscientiously, the result shall be harvested by the adherents (Deut 28:1-14). The hopeless gets hope from it, the poor in spirit becomes abundantly enriched from the words therein and a life with no purpose ends up in great fulfilment. 

The Bible isn’t a story book but God’s epistle to human beings. It is God’s manual handed over to man to navigate through a wilderness and arrive safely to a desired destination (Isaiah 43: 18-19). Even though it may seem boring, be creative when ready to read, study and meditate on it and you will be amazed about the embedded hidden truth which invariably is the solution you’ve been searching for (Joshua 1:8).
